Gronamic range achieves EU FPR compliance

Gronamic has completed the conformity requirements of the EU Fertilising Products Regulation (FPR), which establishes harmonized rules for EU fertilizing products covering areas including composition, safety, labeling and conformity assessment. Products that meet the applicable requirements can carry the CE mark and move freely within the EU market.

For Gronamic, this means the range can now be supplied as CE-marked EU fertilizing products across applicable European markets.

What is Gronamic?

Gronamic is our range of organo-mineral fertilizers for professional turf and landscape use.

Each granule combines mineral and organic nutrient sources. Across the range, different nitrogen sources provide phased nutrient release, while the granulation process produces consistent products designed for reliable application.

The range includes formulations for different turf requirements, from sports fields and landscaped areas to closely managed fine turf.

What FPR compliance changes

Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 provides a common framework for EU fertilizing products. It sets requirements according to product category and covers areas including nutrient content, contaminants, labeling and conformity assessment.

Compliance allows qualifying products to carry the CE mark. Under the regulation, EU Member States cannot restrict the movement of compliant EU fertilizing products for matters covered by the FPR, such as composition or labeling.

The Gronamic packaging has also been updated alongside the regulatory changes, including the information required for CE-marked products.
