Before joining ICL, Thomas built a strong professional background in turf management, beginning his career through an apprenticeship before progressing into senior greenkeeping and course management roles. Across these positions, he developed a reputation for combining practical turf management with a strong focus on environmental responsibility and progressive working practices. Thomas was selected as an ICL Scholar in 2020, recognising his commitment to professional development within the industry. Outside of work, he enjoys kayaking, hiking, and playing golf.
