    Why nutrient availability matters

    Applying nutrients does not automatically mean that all of those nutrients remain readily available for plant uptake.

    Nutrients in solution can interact with other elements, while conditions on the leaf surface and within the rootzone can influence how effectively nutrients remain available.

    TMax is designed to support this part of the nutrition process.

    How does TMax work?

    TMax combines several formulation components that support nutrient availability and uptake.

    Chelating agents

    Chelating agents bind with certain nutrient ions and help keep them in soluble forms.

    This is particularly relevant for micronutrients that can otherwise react with other elements and become less available to the plant.

    By helping nutrients remain soluble, chelating agents support their availability within the applied solution.

    Supporting foliar uptake

    Lower water volumes generally leave a greater proportion of the spray solution on the leaf surface, while higher water volumes allow more of the application to move toward the rootzone.

    Application method should therefore be selected according to the nutritional objective and the product label recommendations.

    What does TMax mean for turf managers?

    TMax is already incorporated into the fertilizer formulation, so there is no separate additive to measure, purchase or tank-mix.
