How to Choose and Apply Nutrivant Foliar Fertilizers
Nutrivant is a line of fully soluble foliar fertilizers formulated with FertiVant technology.
On this page:
This application guide helps growers compare Nutrivant formulations by crop need, targeted growth stage, and recommended spray concentration. FertiVant technology improves leaf coverage, adhesion, and nutrient uptake while extending the availability of nutrients on the leaf surface.
Nutrivant Application Reference Table

How to Choose the Right Nutrivant Formula
Start with the crop and the targeted growth stage, then use the reference table to identify the Nutrivant formulation and recommended spray concentration.
When Should Nutrivant Be Applied?
Application timing should follow the targeted crop or growth stage listed for each Nutrivant formulation in the reference table. Use the approved crop-specific recommendation and spray concentration shown in the table rather than applying one rate or formulation across all crops and stages.
Can Nutrivant Be Tank-Mixed With Other Foliar Products?
Mixing different foliar fertilizers can lead to physical, chemical, or physiological incompatibilities that reduce efficiency or cause leaf damage. Precipitation, gelling, or pH shifts may destabilize nutrients or disrupt surfactant and polymer systems. Combining multiple products can also increase the salt load on the leaf and increase the potential for scorch.
Because Nutrivant relies on a precise FV polymer film for controlled wetting and uptake, applying it alone supports the intended performance of the formulation and helps avoid hidden tank-mix incompatibilities.
Always try first on a small scale before changing the rate, application or any other variable.
Practical Checklist for Application
- Select the Nutrivant formulation according to the crop and targeted growth stage in the reference table.
- Follow the recommended spray concentration shown for the selected formulation.
- Consider physical, chemical, and physiological compatibility before combining foliar products.
- Test first on a small scale before changing the rate, application, or any other variable.
