ICL Growing Solutions recently concluded a busy two-week stretch participating in three agricultural shows – BP2023, Croptec, and Agriscot. These events provided invaluable platforms for ICL Growing Solutions to showcase our latest innovations, connect with industry peers, and demonstrate our commitment to sustainable agricultural practices.

The British Potato Industry Show

At the British Potato Industry Show (BP2023), held in the heart of the UK, ICL Growing Solutions demonstrated how our Controlled Release technology is a prefect fertiliser-fit for the potato industry. The stand attracted growers, farmers and agronomists who engaged with our team to explore different fertiliser options, precision nutrient management plans, and sustainable farming practices. The predictable release of nutrients that Controlled Release Fertiliser was a welcomed prospect by many growers who wish to optimise uptake by potato crops while minimising environmental impact and the products gained an enthusiastic response from this section of the Arable industry.

Croptec: Empowering Sustainable Agriculture

The Croptec exhibition served as a perfect platform for ICL Growing Solutions to showcase our commitment to empowering sustainable agriculture. We highlighted our portfolio of products and solutions designed to optimise crop productivity while minimising environmental impact. Engaging discussions with farmers, agronomists, and industry experts on our stand as well as networking further with familiar faces.

Agriscot: Strengthening Industry Connections

Agriscot, known for bringing together Scotland’s farming community, provided another fantastic opportunity for ICL Growing Solutions to strengthen industry connections. Of particular interest was our focus on the use of Polysulphate in Grassland. We engaged visitors in discussions about the benefits of Polysulphate and its unique attributes as a multi-nutrient fertiliser that enhances grassland productivity in a sustainable way. Many visitors were keen to know more about our organic fertiliser following a recent article in The Scottish Farmer, where ICL’s agronomist Scott Garnett highlighted the positive outputs of an autumn application of Polysulphate.

The conversations revolved around the advantages of using Polysulphate to optimise nutrient uptake in grasslands, promoting healthier pastures and improved yields.

Our team’s dedication to providing tailored solutions that balance productivity with environmental responsibility was well-received and appreciated by attendees across all three of these events. The engagement, positive feedback, and new connections formed during these shows help support our mission to be at the forefront of agricultural innovation, working together with farmers and industry leaders to address ever-changing challenges and drive sustainable growth.
