ICL FertilizerpluS products contain multiple nutrients that enable farmers to maximise their nutrient use efficiency. Reducing greenhouse gases and producing more food with less inputs is the major challenge facing UK farmers over the next decade. This means increasing nutrient use efficiency and ensuring crops have an adequate supply of all the nutrients they need that are essential to optimise yields. Increasingly farmers will need to focus on making the most efficient use of nutrients for both arable and grassland production. That means making the most of nutrients in the soil through regular soil testing, as well as those applied as fertilisers or manures.  

Save water and time, with H2Flo®: this special blend of soil surfactants simply helps irrigation water go further. Here’s the technical bit: it reduces water’s surface tension, improving its ability to move both vertically and laterally. Your substrate and soil will become saturated faster thanks to our unique, state-of-the-art water conservation technology: its active ingredients are more concentrated than in any other wetting agents available. You’ll see less runoff, especially initially, and its effect isn’t limited to the surface – it goes through the substrate to be absorbed better. It also prevents water repellent deposits from hardening. In trials we found that irrigation amounts were reduced by up to 25%, especially in light soils: ideal for water conservation. H2Flo can be applied year-round by drop centre-pivot and overhead irrigation. best performance is achieved in light sandy soils containing 1.5% organic matter.

PhosphatepluS is a highly effective starter fertiliser that is suitable to be used in direct drilling or can spread up to 36 metres. Trials show that applying some potash, sulphur calcium and magnesium together with phosphate at planting, increases nutrient uptake and establishment.

The quality of the water used in spray solutions can have a significant impact on the performance of the pesticide or foliar nutrition being used. NupHix is a specialist water conditioner that adjusts spray tank water to an optimum pH level of 4.0 – 5.0. NupHix contains chemical water conditioners that dissolve the carbonates in the spray solution to reduce their ability to react with pesticides or foliar feeds. NupHix also contains an indicator dye which turns pink when the water has achieved the ideal pH range.
