Granular potassium fertiliser combining Polysulphate and potash for improved performance

Have a question, or need more information?

ICL PotashpluS puts the power of Polysulphate technology to work for you

ICL PotashpluS™ is a granular fertiliser made with Polysulphate and potassium chloride. It provides crops with vital potassium, sulphur, magnesium, and calcium in a single application.

ICL PotashpluS provides 37% potassium oxide, consisting of 30% potassium chloride and 7% as potassium sulphate. The sulphur, magnesium, and calcium in PotashpluS are all in 100% sulphate (SO4) form.

With ICL PotashpluS, there is no need to choose between chloride or sulphate forms of potassium fertiliser: 20% of the potassium is in sulphate form, which reduces the chloride input by 50% compared with KCl.

Q&A

Frequently asked questions we received from farmers

ICL PotashpluS is a quality granular fertiliser specially formulated using a combination of potash (MOP) and Polysulphate. PotashpluS is primarily a potassium and sulphate fertiliser that also contains magnesium and calcium.

When used as a spring potash source, PotashpluS has the added benefit and value of providing magnesium for better photosynthesis, calcium for strong and high-quality crops, and sulphur for optimum protein and oil formation.

ICL PotashpluS ensures progressive supply of sulphur during the whole crop cycle. The prolonged solubility pattern of Polysulphate which is inside the PotashpluS reduces the risk of sulphur leaching into sandy soils and under high precipitation.

For K demanding crops like sugarbeet and potato the general dose is 600-900 kg/ha; for moderately K demanding crops like corn, sunflower, alfalfa, fodder, peas: 200-300 kg/ha and for less K demanding wheat, and small grains, the general recommendation is 200 kg/ha.

With ICL PotashpluS, there is no need to choose between using chloride or sulphate with your potash. 20% of the potassium is in sulphate form, which reduces by 50% the chloride input (as compared with KCl).
