High impact granular fertiliser range for tees, surrounds, fairways, sports fields and lawns

Further information on our controlled release fertilisers

High impact nutrition

ProTurf contains a combination of Poly-S controlled release fertiliser technology, readily available urea nitrogen and polyhalite, a unique multi-nutrient compound fertiliser. The controlled release Poly-S technology leads to consistent, regular growth over a 2-3 month period without growth peaks.

The uncoated nitrogen allows an immediate response of the turf, even in cooler conditions. The multi-nutrient compound fertilser component contains four macro-nutrients (K, MgO, CaO & S) all in one granule.

Q&A

ProTurf is a high-impact granular fertiliser range designed for tees, surrounds, fairways, sports fields, and lawns. It combines controlled-release technology with polyhalite, a unique 4-in-1 mineral containing potassium, calcium, magnesium, and sulfur. These fertilisers benefit turf management by providing consistent, sustained growth for up to 2-3 months, enhancing turf health, colour, and resilience.

ProTurf utilizes Poly-S controlled-release technology, which involves coating urea granules with sulphur. This coating gradually breaks down, releasing nitrogen over a period of 2-3 months. This ensures a steady supply of nutrients, preventing growth peaks and minimising nutrient leaching, leading to healthier and more uniform turf.

ProTurf fertilisers are formulated for different seasons. For example, ProTurf 20-0-7+9CaO+3MgO is ideal for early spring to mid-June, while ProTurf 12-5-20+2CaO+2MgO is suitable from mid-May to mid-autumn.

ProTurf’s unique combination of Poly-S controlled-release technology and polyhalite ensures consistent, regular growth without peaks. This innovative approach delivers both quick and sustained nutrient release, making it highly effective for turf management.
