Stage-Wise Nutrient Management in Tomato Crop
Stage 1: Establishment Stage (Day 7–25)
- Focus: Root establishment, seedling strength, healthy shoot initiation.
- Nutrients Needed: Phosphorus, Zinc, Calcium, Magnesium, Sulphur, and Potassium.
Dosage & Schedule:
- Basal Application (Day 1): Polysulphate @ 75–100 kg/acre. Supplies Ca, Mg, S, and K naturally.
- Fertigation (Day 7, 15, 25): FertiFlow 7:50:7+2Zn @ 5–7 kg/acre – excellent for Phosphorus and Zinc supply.
- Fertigation (Day 10 & 20): FertiFlow 12:6:22+12CaO @ 5–7 kg/acre grade for strong roots and shoot growth.
Early development stage of a crop is very important – If nutrients are not supplied correctly in the early establishment stage, the plant cannot establish well.
Stage 2: Vegetative Growth Stage (Day 30–60)
- Focus: Canopy development, balanced vegetative growth.
- Nutrients Needed: Nitrogen, Potassium, Calcium, and Micronutrients.
Dosage & Schedule:
- Fertigation (Day 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60): FertiFlow Tomato I (15:10:32) @ 5–7 kg/acre every 5 days.
- Foliar Spray (Day 37, 47, 57): Nutrivant Starter (11:36:24+ME) @ 5–7 gm/litre every 7 days.
This ensures balanced canopy growth without excess vegetative growth, while preparing plants for flowering.
Stage 3: Flowering & Fruit Setting Stage (Day 60–90)
- Focus: Flower initiation, fruit set, prevention of flower drop.
- Nutrients Needed: Potassium, Calcium, Boron, Phosphorus.
Dosage & Schedule:
- Fertigation (Day 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90): FertiFlow Tomato II (11:5:35+4CaO) @ 5–7 kg/acre every 5 days.
- Foliar Spray (Day 73 & 87): NutriVant Booster (8:16:39+ME) @ 5–7 gm/litre.
This stage ensures boosting the flower initiation, better fruit setting, and healthy shoot growth.
Stage 4: Flowering & Fruiting Growth Stage (Day 95–125)
- Focus: Fruit enlargement, fruit load management.
- Nutrients Needed: Potassium, Magnesium, Sulphur, Calcium.
Dosage & Schedule:
- Fertigation (Day 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125): FertiFlow Tomato II (11:5:35+4CaO) @ 5–7 kg/acre every 5 days.
- Foliar Spray (Day 73 & 87): NutriVant Fruit (12:5:27 + 8 CaO +ME) @ 5–7 gm/litre every 10 days.

Stage 5: Fruiting to Maturity Stage (Day 130–150)
- Focus: Fruit color, sweetness, firmness
- Nutrients Needed: Potassium, Magnesium, Sulphur, Calcium.

- Fertigation (Day 130, 140, 150): Pekacid (0:58:18) @ 5–7 kg/acre every 10 days.
- Fertigation (Day 135 & 145): FertiFlow 0:55:15+5CaO @ 5–7 kg/acre for Calcium support.
- Foliar Spray (Day 137 & 147): NutriVant Pekvant (0:49:32) @ 5-7 gm/litre every 10 days.

Stage 6: Fruiting to Maturity Stage (Day 151–175)
- Focus: Shelf life, reduced cracking

- Fertigation (Day 155, 160, 165, 170, 175): FertiFlow Potassium+ (8:0:47+7S) @ 5–7 kg/acre every 5 days.
