Richard has over 20 years of experience in tree-nut research and outreach, specializing in nutrition, irrigation, and rootstock performance. He earned his Ph.D. in Plant Biology (Pomology) from UC Davis.

Raised in New Mexico’s Rio Grande Valley, Derek has over 10 years of experience in agriculture, specializing in pecans, pistachios, and other specialty crops.
