With 25+ years in plant nutrition, crop protection, and university extension, Christi brings deep expertise in orchard fertility. She holds a BS in Natural Resource Management and an MS in Soil Science, and is a Certified Crop Advisor.
Dr. Richard Heerema
Extension Pecan and Pistachio Specialist, New Mexico State University
Richard has over 20 years of experience in tree-nut research and outreach, specializing in nutrition, irrigation, and rootstock performance. He earned his Ph.D. in Plant Biology (Pomology) from UC Davis.
Derek Davidson
Technical Sales Manager – Desert Southwest
Raised in New Mexico’s Rio Grande Valley, Derek has over 10 years of experience in agriculture, specializing in pecans, pistachios, and other specialty crops. With a background spanning grower support, product development, and ag retail and wholesale, he brings practical expertise in nutrition programs, product blending, and grower solutions to help nut producers optimize yield and orchard health.
