Dr. Anserd Julius "AJ" Foster

North American Agronomy Lead

ICL agronomists are specialized experts in agricultural science, focusing on optimizing crop nutrition strategies and sustainability practices. They collaborate closely with researchers, product leads and technical sales managers to provide tailored agronomic guidance, support field trials, and facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure effective implementation of advanced agricultural solutions. With nearly 20 years of teaching, research and crop nutrition experience across diverse cropping systems, AJ previously worked as an University Extension Agronomist as well as a Research Agronomist with Aromatic Inc. and Lamb Weston. He has a passion for soil science, and holds a master’s degree in Environmental Soil Chemistry from Louisiana State University and Soils Agronomy from Mississippi State University, as well as a PhD in Crop Science from Oklahoma State University.
