Eduardo Lopes Cancellier is an accomplished agronomist and biostimulants specialist with extensive experience in plant nutrition, soil science, and the development and strategic positioning of innovative agricultural solutions. Currently serving as Global Biostimulants Portfolio Agronomist at ICL Growing Solutions, he plays a key role in advancing ICL’s global biostimulants portfolio through product development, field validation, technical knowledge creation, and training of commercial and agronomy teams worldwide. His expertise spans biostimulants, foliar fertilizers, nutrient-use efficiency, crop development, and the adaptation of solutions to diverse crops and pedo-climatic environments. Eduardo holds a Master’s and Ph.D. in Soil Science from the Federal University of Lavras in Brazil, complemented by advanced research at the Fertilizer Technology Research Centre in Australia, and was recognized with the prestigious IPNI Scholar Award in 2016. Combining strong scientific expertise with extensive international field experience, Eduardo works closely with growers, agronomists, researchers, and commercial teams to translate agronomic science into practical solutions that improve crop performance, resilience, and sustainable productivity.
