ICL has introduced H2Pro TriSmart Granules and H2Pro TriSmart Tablets, extending TriSmart technology beyond liquid application and giving turf managers and landscapers additional ways to manage turf health in localized areas.

Both products are built around ICL’s proven TriSmart triple-action surfactant technology, which helps water to efficiently spread, penetrate and be retained in the soil, slowing the rate of dry-down and supporting faster rewetting.

    TriSmart in a granular formulation

H2Pro TriSmart Granules introduce a new way of applying TriSmart surfactant technology. The product combines TriSmart surfactants with a patent-pending polyhalite mini-granule carrier, developed by ICL’s R&D team at AmegA Sciences.

The compacted granule integrates solid surfactant directly into a polyhalite-based core. This allows precise delivery of the wetting agent from a stable, free-flowing granule.

H2Pro TriSmart granules feature a polyhalite carrier.

The polyhalite carrier also contributes background macronutrients including potassium, calcium and magnesium with the surfactant technology helping to move them into the soil. The compacted granule structure provides durability during handling and spreading, while breaking down readily once wetted allowing the release of the surfactant into the soil.

Field trials conducted in the UK, Spain and Australia have shown increased rootzone moisture content compared to untreated controls following dry-down and rewetting cycles, with corresponding improvements in turf colour and overall turf quality.

TriSmart in a hose-end tablet formulation

H2Pro TriSmart Tablets bring TriSmart triple-action surfactant technology into a hose-end application. The tablets are designed to disperse during normal hand watering over a 20 to 30-minute period to optimise the transfer of the surfactant into the treated areas.

This makes them well suited to targeted treatment and recovery of localized dry areas without the need for spray equipment, which is particularly important for greens, surrounds, lawns and landscape areas.

    Flexible integration across programs

H2Pro TriSmart Granules and Tablets can be used alongside existing TriSmart liquid applications, allowing turf managers to select the most appropriate application method for each situation.

Both products are recommended for use on turf and landscape areas prone to moisture stress, including greens, tees, surrounds, lawns and other dry patch risk zones.
