Key Conclusions
In comparison with the existing Farmer practices, the ICL practice, via the usage of Polysulphate fertilizer, demonstrated a considerable increase in the Stem Girth, Number of Leaves, Number of Hands/bunches, Number of Fruits/hands, Average Bunch Weight and Yield. The additional returns/ha were Rs.40,300/- with an MCBR (Marginal Cost Benefit Ratio) of 5.

Results
The data on growth parameters reveals that stem girth (FP-30.6″, ICL- 34″) and number of leaves (FP-13, ICL- 14) which was 11% and 9% higher than the Farmer Practice. There was no significant differentiation in number of hands and fruits/hand. The average bunch weight was 27.32Kg and 26.08Kg in ICL and Farmers Practice respectively. The yield/ha was 68.3 Mt/ha in ICL Practice and 65.2 Mt/ha in Farmer Practice. The additional returns/ha were Rs.40,300/- with an MCBR of 5
