Results
The data on growth parameters reveals that Stem Girth (FP-27″, ICL- 32.2″) and number of leaves (FP-14, ICL- 15) which was 19% and 11% higher than the Farmer Practice. The average number of hands were 8 in ICL Practice and 7 in Farmer Practice. Whereas the average number of fruits per hand were 16.4 in ICL Practice and 14.8 in Farmer Practice. The average bunch weight was 28.2Kg and 24.8Kg in ICL and Farmers Practice respectively. The yield/ha was 77.55 Mt/ha in ICL Practice and 68 Mt/ha in Farmer Practice. The additional returns/ha were Rs. 57,300/- with an MCBR of 7.2
