Key Conclusions
In comparison with the existing Farmer practices, the ICL practice, via the usage of Polysulphate fertilizer, demonstrated a considerable increase in the Rhizome weight of the Ginger crop, number of Tillers and the overall Ginger yield per hectare. This translates to additional returns per hectare and also the marginal cost benefit ratio for Ginger crops in Indian conditions.
Objective
To evaluate the effect of Polysulphate on growth and yield parameters of Ginger

Results
The average number of tillers were 10.8 in ICL Practice and with the Farmer Practice it was 9.6 i.e., 13% increase over Farmer Practice. The average Rhizome Weight in ICL Practice (870 gm) was 23% higher than the Farmer Practice (705 gm). The ICL Practice Yield (88.25 q/ha) was 17% higher than the Farmer Practice (75.5 q/ha). The additional returns over Farmer Practice were Rs. 15,300/- with the MCBR of 3.8
