Key Conclusions
In comparison with the existing Farmer practices, the ICL practice, via the usage of Standard Polysulphate, demonstrated a considerable increase in the quality and production parameters of Sugarcanes. The average increase in cane height was 26% with a 15% increase in the tillers. The canes were heavier by 50%.

Results
The number of tillers, Millable canes and internodes were 14, 8 and 27 in ICL Practice whereas the same in Farmer Practice was 12, 6 and 22 respectively. The cane yield in ICL Practice was 192.5 Mt/ha whereas it is 162.5 Mt/ha in the Farmer Practice. The additional returns per hectare were of Rs. 63,000/- with an MCBR of 10.5
