Key Conclusions
The controlled release of nitrogen from Agromaster rewarded the potato crop with a higher NUE (an 82% increase compared to the grower’s standard practice) and increased the total seed potato yield by 10%. Over the course of this trial choosing Agromaster, instead of the grower’s practice, produced an additional return on investment (ROI) of £736 per ha.
Objective
To compare the efficiency of Agromaster, a controlled release nitrogen-based fertiliser, with ammonium nitrate, in one application, for seed potato production.
