Osmocote® Exact Protect 8-9M is a programmed-release fertiliser for autumn/winter pottings and salt-sensitive crops, also developed especially for combinations with PlantTrust (controlled release crop protection product against Phytophtora Cinnamomi). Plus, there’s no need re-fertilise in the spring if you apply at the full rate. You will benefit from this advantage during busy sales periods. Osmocote® Exact Protect 8-9M can be mixed in the potting substrate or dibbled in the plant hole. Dibbling is only recommended for well-rooted liners (P9). Only use fertiliser applicators which do not damage the coating.

**Recommended application rates for Osmocote® Exact Protect granules in g/l** How to calculate the granules per pot or container at the application rates above: - Granule application - 3-liter pot volume - 5 g/l Osmocote® Exact Protect Total = 15 g/pot These rates are based on potting substrates with max. 0.5kg/m3 base fertilizer and are general recommendations. For most pottings, no base fertilizer is needed. For application rates in combination with PlantTrust and tailor-made advice, contact your ICL Specialty Fertilizers advisor. Osmocote® Exact Protect is a 100% dual-coated fertilizer; the initial release of nutrients is postponed in the first 1.5 to 2 months. It is very important to apply Osmocote® Exact Protect in the correct potting period. Depending on your circumstances, it might be necessary to slightly re-fertilize in the main growing period. Contact your ICL Specialty Fertilizers advisor for tailor-made advice. Trial first on a small scale before changing the rate, application or any other variables. As circumstances can differ and as the application of our products is beyond our control, ICL Specialty Fertilizers cannot be held responsible for any adverse results.
