Key Conclusions
In comparison with the existing Farmer practices, the ICL practice, via the usage of Polysulphate fertilizer, demonstrated a considerable increase in the Boll weight of the Cotton crop and the overall seed cotton yield per hectare. This translates to additional returns per hectare and also the marginal cost benefit ratio for Cotton crops in Indian conditions.

Results
The Average number of Sympodial Branches and Number of bolls were 15 and 83 in ICL Practice whereas it was 14 and 65 in Farmer Practice i.e., 7% and 28% increase over Farmer Practice observed. Whereas the boll weight increased by 10%. The seed cotton yield was 23.8 q/ha in ICL Practice and the same was 20.4 q/ha in Farmer Practice. There was a 17% yield increase over the Farmer Practice. The Marginal Cost benefit ratio was 4.53.
