ICL Brings its Expertise to The Fertilizer Show, USA

Jason Haegele, ICL’s Marketing and Innovation Manager for ICL Growing Solutions, North America, will join Svjetlana Jerkovic, ICL Global Head of Raw Materials, and Brian Mann, Product Lead, Water Soluble Fertilizers, North America at the upcoming Fertilizer Show in Orlando, Florida. The event promises to bring worldwide fertilizer manufacturers together with global suppliers of equipment, raw materials, and plant design alongside innovative technologies, solutions, and services, industry leaders, academics, and associations linked to the fertilizer industry.

This innovation-focused session will explore how advancements in fertilizer technology can improve soil health and crop yields in sustainable agriculture. The session is expected to reveal the role biologicals and other alternative soil amendments will play in enhancing long-term soil fertility and productivity.

Going beyond these core topics, the panel expects to discuss how data-driven farming practices, such as precision agriculture, can support more effective nutrient management and boost crop performance and investigate the key challenges and opportunities for integrating innovative soil health solutions into conventional farming systems.

The session will cover how water-soluble fertilizers (WSFs) enhance precision agriculture and improve nutrient-use efficiency for higher crop yields. The session will also examine the WSF innovations that are emerging to address climate change and environmental sustainability challenges, as well as how WSFs can support the shift toward regenerative farming practices while reducing the environmental impact of conventional fertilizers.

Svjetlana Jerkovic’s presentation on “The Role of Sustainable Procurement in Building Resilient Agrifood Systems” will reveal how collaboration across the value chain can enhance sustainable procurement efforts and the best practices procurement leaders can adopt to align with sustainability goals.

The potential for technology and data transparency to drive accountability in procurement and the role sustainable procurement plays in fostering long-term resilience in agrifood systems will also be covered.
