Nova PULSE™ (0-6-4 +1.3S 0.5Co 10Mo 6Zn) is a water-soluble foliar fertilizer originally designed with nitrogen-fixing legumes and pulse crops in mind. The unique P-K formulate contains micronutrients cobalt (Co), molybdenum (Mo), and zinc (Zn), in a unique micronutrient package. Manufactured with high-purity, superior quality and fully soluble nutrients, the formulation promotes rapid foliar absorption to support the needs of legume crops and the biological N fixation process. The easy-to-use formula can be mixed directly in the tank with no risk of clogging nozzles, and the dry formulation saves on shipping costs (no water = less volume).
Although especially suited to legumes, Nova PULSE has resulted in positive responses for a variety of crops including tree fruits. Ideal for crops in vegetative stages, Nova PULSE supplies a balanced supply of essential nutrients while improving nodulation and nitrogen fixation.

Vegetative stage applications to soybeans and other legume crops to promote nodulation and N fixation. For tree fruits apply at bloom/early fruit set to increase potential fruit size.

When used on legumes, Nova PULSE stimulates and maintains biological nitrogen fixation throughout the crop cycle, improving fixation to deliver more energy for the plants. By increasing the rate at which nitrogen is transformed into proteins, crops can generate heavier grains boosting productivity in the field.
- • Nova PULSE stimulates auxin synthesis in aerial parts of the plant, directing it to the roots.
- • Promotes cytokinin synthesis in roots.
- • Improves biological nitrogen fixation (BNF) efficiency, cutting energy loss. (Between 30 and 60% of the energy supplied to nitrogenase can be lost as H2.)
- • Activates hydrogenase enzyme to recycle hydrogen, releasing energy.
- • Saves 11-25% of carbon for plant growth (leaves, pods, and grains).
- • Reduces ethylene biosynthesis, prolonging nodule life.
Nova PULSE acts to reduce ethylene biosynthesis, keeping the nodules alive longer and preventing their premature death. In addition to the hormonal promoters, Nova PULSE provides essential nutrients for the biological fixation process, ensuring its operation until the end of the cycle.
