Key Conclusions
By applying Polysulphate as a top-dress application at hilling marketable yields were significantly improved.
- Averaged across all sites, Polysulphate improved marketable yields by 41 CWT/ACRE
Objective
To investigate the effect Of Polysulphate as a topdress application at hilling. This was an incremental application in addition to K-Mag® that had been applied as the grower standard practice at planting.

- K-Mag at 227 lb/A applied as Grower Standard Practice (GSP) at planting
- Trials (3 to 4 acres in size) were coordinated by Steve Watts (Genesis Crop Systems, Inc.) at six commercial potato fields.
- Grower Standard practices were used for N, P, and K.
