USA Growing Solutions team benefit from a visit to Boulby Mine!

ICL UK Sales hosted US colleagues at Boulby Mine for insights into Polysulphate

On the 26th June, ICL UK Sales welcomed both colleagues and customers from the USA to Boulby Mine for the third time in the past 12 months, to gain information about Polysulphate, the mine itself and to collaborate with the UK team on sales and marketing.

The two-day visit began with a presentation on Quality Control by Glen Collins, and a surface tour of the mine. Richard Ward from ICL UK Sales followed the tour with commercial and product presentations and a discussion on the market and how Polysulphate fits the future trends.

The team spent the afternoon underground with Mark Allen and Paul Byrski, the visitors experienced the reality of working in a mine and the overall effort that goes into mining and processing the product.

The following day, Agronomist Scott Garnett continued to illustrate the story of Polysulphate by taking the team to one of our advocate farms.

The whole team expressed sincere gratitude to those who took the time out of their day to help. Specific comments made by Chris McClain highlighted how useful the mine visits are.

Previous visits by the team resulted in ICL Growing Solutions USA growing sales and being awarded the Q1 Extra Miler for Division Recognition competition for their efforts introducing PKpluS into the Canadian market growing Polysulphate sales. Let’s hope this visit has a similar result.
