ICL Levington Advance going from strength to strength

This season has seen great leaps forward in growing media volume through our Irish factory at Cúil na Móna. From visits to customers, I can report that confidence among growers is high regarding quality and efficient turnaround on ‘just in time’ orders.  

Peat reduced Levington Advance mixes, containing our Fibagro Advance woodfibre range, are now the norm, with consistent improvements reported in rooting and crops quality. We have also moved over completely to Osmocote 5, our latest generation, controlled release fertiliser. Designed specifically for sustainable growing media mixes, its NPK nutrient release pattern matches plants’ requirements closer than ever before.

With our factory well stocked with all the raw materials required for the remainder of 2023 season and well into 2024, Irish growers can be confident we can look after all their growing media requirements as a partnership with their production of Irish grown plants. 

Now that growing media production is well up to speed, we are delighted to offer growers the opportunity to include additional technologies in their mixes. Lalguard M52 GR is a new bioinsecticide for the control of black vine weevil larvae, while Vitalnova TriBoost is a powerful new tried and tested biostimulant boosting beneficial microbes in sustainable mixes – helping optimise plant quality while minimising any losses.
