The move follows EU guidelines to remove certain co-formulants in products on a precautionary principle.

In light of these regulations, Syngenta has chosen not to pursue a costly reformulation of Heritage Maxx. This decision is supported by the continued availability of azoxystrobin, the essential fungicide ingredient, in the superior WDG formulation, Heritage.

Furthermore, Syngenta has significantly increased its investment in research and development and manufacturing processes for the innovative fungicide technology, Ascernity.

This commitment has led to the introduction of an entirely new active ingredient in the turf sector, specifically designed for the effective management of summer turf diseases.

It also plays a vital role in enhancing resistance management strategies, particularly when used in conjunction with Heritage.

It is important to note that this regulatory update does not impact other Syngenta turf products, such as Heritage, Ascernity, Instrata Elite, Medallion TL, or Primo Maxx II.
