Trophy XL

New turf herbicide for challenging weed control

Trophy XL combines a new active ingredient, Arylex, with established herbicide technology, offering broad spectrum weed control in turf. Its advanced formulation acts quickly on actively growing weeds and is highly effective against persistent weeds like Plantain and Clover.

Trophy XL and Praxys are selective herbicides designed to control a broad spectrum of weeds. The programmes below outline different approaches for using each product, depending on weed types and infestation levels.

Single Treatment Programmes

Trophy XL and Praxys provide strong, targeted control of broad-leaved weeds with a single treatment.

Trophy XL – Ideal for sites with a range of broad-leaved weeds, especially effective on plantain.

  • Application Timing: Apply Trophy XL once during April, May, or June.

Praxys – Suitable for areas with a variety of broad-leaved weeds, particularly effective on daisy.

  • Application Timing: Apply Praxys once in April, May, or June.

Two Treatment Programme

For areas prone to reinfestation and where multiple broad-leaved weeds persist, a two-treatment approach is recommended to maintain control throughout the season.

  • 1st Treatment (Praxys): Apply in April or May for initial control of broad-leaved weeds and daisy.
  • 2nd Treatment (Trophy XL): Apply in June, July, or August for continued suppression and to address weeds like plantain and emerging infestations.

This sequential treatment provides ongoing coverage and mitigates the resurgence of common broad-leaved weeds.

Flexible Application Window

Both Praxys and Trophy XL can be applied any time between April and September, depending on conditions and weed pressure. Regularly inspect turf and treat when weeds are present and actively growing for optimal results.

As part of an integrated weed management plan adequate nutrition is essential for sustaining turf health.
