Summary

  • Independent research work from 2013 that started the ball rolling with the use of Greenmaster Pro-Lite ‘Cold Start’ in spring.
  • Overall, the results showed that the ‘Cold Start’ 11-5-5 +8Fe fertiliser product performed very well in providing a quick green up to golf green turf growing under cool spring conditions.
  • Over the longer term ‘Cold Start’ (and ‘Autumn’) products provided improved turf quality for up to nine weeks after treatment.
  • The results have been backed up and substantiated in subsequent trials and with widespread user experiences.
