Calculating the Perfect PeKacid Rate

With ICL’s PeKacid Calculator, you can calculate the ideal PeKacid rate to achieve the optimum pH of the nutrient solution. To keep things simple, the calculator works with either imperial or metric units, and you can enter the water hardness using CaCO₃, HCO₃, dGH, fH, or °e. There is no need to convert your measurements before using the calculator.

Simply enter the hardness of your irrigation water and the volume of water that you want to adjust, and the calculator will work out how much PeKacid to add to neutralize the bicarbonates in your water. It will also calculate how much P and K this will supply and the expected change in the Electrical Conductivity (EC) of the irrigation water.
