The move follows an announcement by the GB regulatory authorities to follow EU guidelines to remove certain co-formulants in products on a precautionary principle.

Syngenta made the decision against embarking on an expensive reformulation of Heritage Maxx, given that the crucial fungicide component, azoxystrobin, continues to be readily accessible in the high-performance WDG formulation known as Heritage.

Moreover, Syngenta has expanded its research and development, along with its manufacturing capabilities, towards the advanced fungicide technology of Ascernity.

This investment introduces a completely new active ingredient for turf, perfectly tailored for controlling summer diseases. Additionally, it establishes a crucial supplementary strategy for managing resistance, especially when incorporated into programs alongside Heritage.

No other Syngenta turf products, including Heritage, Ascernity, Instrata Elite, Medallion TL or Primo Maxx II, are affected by the acceptable co-formulant legislation.
