Trace elements

Trace elements, also known as micronutrients, are essential for the proper growth and development of a plant. Although a plant only need very small amounts of trace elements, they play a critical role in the various physiological processes within the plant. A deficiency of trace elements causes symptoms such as stunted growth, yellowing of leaves, and poor development.

ICL has conducted an extensive research to develop state-of-the-art products that have exactly the correct ratio of trace elements to maximise your plants’ growing capacity. To enhance the uptake, metals like Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn are always present in a chelated form. All trace element products are supplied under the brand Micromax® as granules to be mixed with growing substrates, and the brand Micromax WS® as water-soluble products used for fertigation.
