Osmocote® Exact Protect 5-6M is a programmed-release fertilizer for early spring pottings (January till February) and salt-sensitive crops. No need to re-fertilize if the full application rate is used, saving you time and effort during busy sales periods. This product has been specially designed for early-spring Calluna spring pottings, conifers, roses, unrooted cuttings potted in end pots and other sensitive crops. The second coating, known as DCT, delays the start time by 4-6 weeks, so all the nutrients are saved up until the plant can absorb them effectively. Osmocote® Exact Protect 5-6M can be mixed in the potting substrate or dibbled in the plant hole. Dibbling is only recommended for well-rooted liners (P9). Only use fertilizer applicators which do not damage the coating.

Osmocote® Exact Protect is a 100% dual-coated fertilizer; the initial release of nutrients is postponed in the first 1.5 to 2 months. It is very important to apply Osmocote® Exact Protect in the correct potting period. Depending on your circumstances, it might be necessary to slightly re-fertilize in the main growing period. Contact your ICL advisor for tailor-made advice. Trial first on a small scale before changing the rate, application or any other variables. As circumstances can differ and as the application of our products is beyond our control, ICL cannot be held responsible for any adverse results.
