Landscape & Industrial Sales Manager
Join us at ICL as a dynamic Sales Manager in the Landscape and Industrial sector
Your role will be pivotal in driving the growth of our ICL Landscape and Industrial (L&I) products through a network of specialist distributors and outlets, under the guidance of the Landscape & Industrial Business Development Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with relevant industry experience to advance their career with a leading company in the industry.
About the role:
- Implement the national sales strategy for the ICL L&I range, working closely with the Landscape & Industrial Business Development Manager. This includes key account management, end-user engagement, customer prospecting, and other vital sales activities.
- Expand the ICL brand in the L&I sector across various channels, including distributors, local authorities, contractors, sales outlets and industry associations.
- Collaborate with the Turf and Landscape team to enhance business with existing crossover distributors or end users in the sports turf market.
- Utilise our CRM to organise and prioritise key accounts, facilitating a targeted sales approach to increase market share and strengthen client relationships.
- Regularly provide detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.
- Work with the Marketing department to develop sales promotions and presentations, offering product training and insights to distributors and end-users.
- Offer technical support and advice to customers, ensuring our products meet their specific needs.
- Manage customer complaints and queries in line with company policies.
- This role involves occasional travel, including overnight stays for account meetings and trade shows.
About you:
- Proven experience in the landscape, amenity, or home & garden industry, with a successful record in managing and selling Landscape and Industrial products.
- Strong B2B and B2C sales background, with exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Competent in demonstrating and presenting key technologies confidently.
- BASIS and FACTS qualifications are a plus, but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
- Technical understanding of the chemical aspects of our product range.
- Location: UK, Remote working.
