IPM: A successful start of 2025 season
January 2025 in Essen was again the time and place where the horticulture industry gathered to start the new season.
The 41st edition of IPM ESSEN reported a significant increase in the number of visitors. Well over 40,000 trade fair visitors attended the Essen exhibition grounds from January 28 to 31, 2025, to explore innovations in the areas of plants, technology, floristry, and equipment.
“We have seen a significant increase in the number of participants. This is an extremely positive signal and confirmation that our line-up was consistently convincing,” said Oliver P. Kuhrt, CEO of Messe Essen. This year, IPM ESSEN confirmed its role as the world’s leading innovation platform and powerful industry driver.
The event showcased a diverse range of products and services from over 1,434 exhibitors from 45 countries. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technologies, sustainable solutions, and the latest trends in horticulture. The exhibition featured various themed areas, including the “Green City” concept, which highlighted urban greening and sustainable landscaping practices.
As every year, ICL belonged to the premium exhibitors, presenting state-of-the-art products for plant nutrition and care. Our booth attracted considerable attention, with demonstrations of innovative fertilizers and plant cultivation solutions designed to enhance crop yield and quality. ICL’s experts were on hand to provide insights and advice to visitors, reinforcing the company’s commitment to advancing horticultural practices.
In addition to the exhibition, IPM ESSEN offered a comprehensive program of seminars, workshops, and panel discussions. These sessions provided valuable learning opportunities for professionals looking to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving horticultural landscape.
The success of this year’s IPM ESSEN underscores the event’s importance as a global meeting point for the horticultural industry. With its focus on innovation, sustainability, and knowledge exchange, IPM ESSEN continues to drive progress and inspire growth within the sector.
