The all-rounder you are looking for ProSelect® Jetty is such an outstanding all-rounder that it’s hard to find a downside. It’s excellent as low-maintenance grass on golf roughs, orchards, or reclamation areas. It’s very tolerant of shade, even under dense cover from trees. Plus, it’s fabulously tolerant of disease and drought: even in the height of summer it can still cover 89% of the ground. It’s very rare for a hard fescue: you can mow it short for a neat lawn or landscaping, or it can also look great left to grow in a conservation project. Also, unlike many hard fescues, it’s an attractive very dark green. In recent NTEP trials Jetty consistently beat other fine fescues for turf quality overall.
