Jetty
ProSelect Jetty is an A-LIST approved 100% hard fescue (Festuca trachyphylla) for golf roughs, landscape and amenity turf, and other areas where shade tolerance and lower maintenance requirements are important.
Jetty combines strong shade and drought tolerance with a very dark-green color and good disease tolerance. It can maintain turf beneath dense tree canopies and retained 89% summer ground cover in testing.
Its A-LIST approval provides independent recognition of its performance under reduced-input management, complementing Jetty’s suitability for lower-maintenance turf.
Jetty can be maintained at around 25 mm or left unmown, allowing it to be used across both managed landscape turf and more extensive areas such as golf roughs, orchards, reclamation and conservation areas.
In NTEP testing, Jetty also demonstrated strong overall turf quality compared with other fine fescues evaluated in the trials, alongside strong shade, summer cover and disease performance.
