Riptide
ProSelect Riptide is a fine-leaved creeping bentgrass cultivar adapted to European growing conditions and suited to golf greens, tees and fairways.
Its upright, low-growing habit and high tiller density help produce a dense surface, while strong seedling vigor and rapid spring establishment support quicker turf development after sowing.Riptide maintains its bright mid-green color well through autumn and winter and combines frost tolerance with strong resistance to Brown Patch, Anthracnose, Pink Snow Mold and Take-All Patch. Recommended Rate:
For permanent turf, seed at 5 – 8 g/m² during early or spring.
For overseeding, seed at 3 – 5 g/m² for continuous interseeding greens.
Keep seedbed moist during germination and establishment. Expect germination in 4 to 7 days at minimum soil temperature of 12°C.

ICL recommends a general fertilizer program with a yearly amount of nitrogen ranging from 10 – 20 g/m², phosphorous 5 – 7 g/m², and potassium 25 – 40 g/m².
Check micronutrient amounts with tissue tests during the year and again with a soil test in the early spring. Riptide responds better to leaner inputs of nutrition and water, reducing maintenance expenses. Irrigate deeply and infrequently in absence of rainfall; more lightly and frequently for overseeded turf.
