An all-round legend for quality turf ProSelect® Legend, a fine-leafed Kentucky bluegrass, is aggressive and perfect for high-quality sports fields, golf tees, or for sod production. This dark green midnight type is disease-resistant, resulting in a healthy, clean turf that needs little mowing. The NTEP rated its low maintenance highly. If you need the highest-quality turf money can buy, this could be the one for you: the name says it all.

For most applications, Legend should be sown at 12 – 15 gr/m². Consistent watering is especially important until after first mowing. Legend is ideal for renovating existing turf that has been damaged or thinned by disease or wear: overseed at 8 – 12 15 gr/m².
Legend is versatile, growing well in both full and partial shade, and under both high and low maintenance programs. Mow as necessary, removing no more than 1/3 of the leaf. Legend can be maintained at 12mm height when adequate moisture and nutrients are available.
Established turf maintenance: At a minimum, fertilize annually with 25 gr/m2 of nitrogen in a balanced formulation. More intensive programs produce a denser, more attractive turf.
