To condition your turf before it becomes stressed: it contains extra potassium, which will harden your grass. Ideal all year round, on all fine turf. These single-compound micro-granules contain standard-release and slow-release nitrogen and potassium, plus all essential trace elements. K-Step’s low nitrogen content means compact growth and hardened turf, while its magnesium will boost color and hide the symptoms of stress. Features our famous patented MU2 and SilK technologies. a zero phosphorus analysis.

  • Low N & high K ratio for turf health during autumn and winter
  • Compact growth, stronger grass, brighter color
  • Sustained release for 6 – 8 weeks
  • Even spread at low application rates
  • Successfully used in many autumn ITM trials and programs to reduce disease occurrence

Recommended Rate:
20 – 30 g/m²
Recommended Rate:

Always trial on a small area before adjusting application rate or any other variables. As site conditions vary and application is outside ICL’s control, responsibility for results rests with the user.

1
Apply to dry foliage and irrigate after 1 – 2 days if there is no rainfall. Irrigation helps with dispersion and lowers risk of mower pick-up on close cut surfaces. Watering-in after application will minimize footprint trails. Avoid applying during frosty or drought conditions.
2
Delay any vertical cutting and/or grooming until 3 days after application, to allow the granules to properly disperse. Significantly less nitrogen is released when soil temperatures are below 10° C.
3
If spilled on pavement, concrete, clothes, etc. brush off immediately as it can stain. Contains iron: do not apply in case of risk of contact with concrete, marble, stone, fabric, or swimming pools.

  • MU₂ is ICL’s patented slow-release nitrogen technology designed to deliver consistent, long-lasting turf nutrition. It utilizes microfine granules composed of methylene urea chains that are broken down in the soil, releasing nitrogen over up to eight weeks. This ensures uniform growth, strong rooting, and minimal nutrient loss, even under variable environmental conditions.
