Nova QuicK-Mg 0-0-15+13MgO is our unique potassium and magnesium formula: perfect for the crops that need those nutrients most, such as sugar beet, potatoes, oil palm, tea, sugarcane, bananas, pineapples, and more (it’s great for tropical soils which can so often be deficient in magnesium). It won’t take long for you to notice the difference in your plants: Quick-Mg’s high magnesium content in a quick-to-absorb form will have them bursting with chlorophyll in no time. It’s all about high purity nutrients and low sodium here. It’s ideal for fertigation with its high solubility of 680 g/L water (at 20°C).
Nova QuicK-Mg is suitable for organic growing systems and is listed on ap.ecocert.com demonstrating it meets the requirements of European regulation EU 2018/848, American Regulation NOP (National Organic Program), and Japanese Regulation JAS (Japanese Agrigulture Standard) and can be used by farmers who sell their organic products to EU, USA, and Japanese markets.

As it’s compatible with most other fertilizers (nitrogen, potassium, calcium, and, in specific situations, phosphorus), Nova Quick-Mg can serve as one of the building blocks of most crops' mineral nutrition programs.

It is highly recommended, for example, to apply it simultaneously with Nova Ferti-K, at a ratio of 1:1.2 (w/w) of Nova Quick-Mg:Nova Ferti-K.

This blend will have a beneficial ratio of 6.7:1 w/w of K+:Mg+2, which reflects the ideal ratio between these cations within the plants cells. Markedly higher K share may considerably reduce Mg uptake by plant roots.

The following crops may be highly responsive to the application of Nova QuicK-Mg: alfalfa, clover, small grains, corn, cotton, sugarcane, beet, sugar-beet, pastures, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, celery, cucumber, eggplant, pepper, potato, pumpkin, spinach, squash, tomato, watermelon, blueberry, conifers, oil palm and tea.

Situations in which the use of Nova QuicK-Mg should be carefully checked or avoided: saline conditions, high electrical conductivity (EC) of the irrigation water or of soil solution. Crops sensitive to salinity and/or chloride such as strawberry, onion, carrot, fennel, radish, lettuce, groundnuts, many flower species, tobacco, pineapple, avocado, citrus, grapes.
