Results

Crop yield – kg
- 21 fruit cuts were evaluated during treatment. • All harvested fruits were weighed to determine the yield in kg/ha.
- The reported yield represents only the kg/ha harvested in the evaluated cuts.
- The treatment with Nova PekAcid obtained a higher yield of 5,281.50 kg/ha, while in the witness plot the yield was 4,637.50 kg/ha. This represents an increase of 13% in the yield with Nova PekAcid.
Nutrient absorption — Foliar analysis
- Although, in the Nova PekAcid plot, the concentration of phosphorus (P) was lower in the soil (28 ppm) compared to the control plot (34 ppm), the results of foliar analysis in the laboratory found a higher concentration of phosphorus in plants treated with Nova PekAcid (3080 ppm) compared to the control plot (2,520 ppm). This indicates that Nova PekAcid substantially improves phosphorus absorption +19% compared to the control.
- Potassium K showed a slight increase in leaf absorption (+2%) with Nova PekAcid (19,300 ppm) VS Witness (18,900 ppm). This was very positive, since in the Nova PekAcid plot, the concentration of K in the soil was 830 ppm, while in the control plot it was 910 ppm.
- Nova PekAcid helped improve the absorption of microelements, mainly iron, which was 107 ppm in leaf concentration VS 99 ppm in control plants. Manganese was 101 ppm with Nova PekAcid and 98 ppm with the control. And the boron was 90 ppm with Nova PekAcid and 70 ppm with the control.
- Nova PekAcid improved the absorption of micronutrients in leaves for iron (Fe), Boron (B) and Manganese (Mn).
