To evaluate the effects of ICL water soluble NPK fertilizer NovAcid applied via fertigation, combined with a topdress application of Polysulphate Standard, during flowering through harvest of durian trees in the rainy season.

Treatments
From 1 March to 30 September 2025, two treatments were conducted on a durian farm. Trees in both treatments were 5 years old, planted at a density of 160 trees/ha.
ICL Plot
- Weekly fertigation using ICL water soluble NPK fertilizers NovAcid 19‑19‑19+3CaO+TE and Novacid 12‑4‑36+3CaO+TE)
- One application of Polysulphate Standard at 1.5 kg/tree, applied 30 days after flower opening
Control Plot (Farmer Practice)
- Topdressing with a granular NPK fertilizer
- Same drip irrigation system used only for water delivery

Results
- NovAcid + Polysulphate increased yield by 9.02% and total income by 20.5% compared with farmer practice.
- Post‑harvest, trees in the ICL plot showed stronger leaf flushes and better vigor, indicating improved preparation for the next season.
- After the demonstration, the farmer in the control plot switched to NovAcid for the following season.
- Based on these results, investing in Novacid and Polysulphate proved as profitable for mature durian trees.
