Key Conclusions

A three-year field trial in Cáceres, Spain tested Polysulphate on organic olive orchards. The results showed a 23% cumulative increase in olive yield, along with improved soil fertility and enhanced levels of key nutrients—particularly nitrogen, potassium, and calcium. The findings suggest Polysulphate contributes positively to both crop performance and long-term soil health.

Objective

To assess the effectiveness of Polysulphate compared to other nutrient sources in organic olive cultivation, using both broadcast and localized application under drip irrigation. The trial conducted at Finca Casas de Hitos in Cáceres by CICYTEX (Centro de investigaciones Científicas y Tecnológicas de Extremadura) aimed to evaluate differences in nutrient uptake and yield performance across methods.
