Key Conclusions
- The Solinure Polymarine (P) and Solinure Polymarine + Bioz® Diamond (P+D) treatments delivered the best yield parameters for kohlrabi, with no significant difference between the two Polymarine treatments, both of which outperformed the Farmers Practice (F).
- The benefit of the Bioz® Diamond biostimulant is clearly demonstrated by the Farmers Practice + Bioz® Diamond (F+D) treatment, significantly increasing the yield and biomass compared to the Farmers Practice.
- When the kohlrabi yield is assessed as a percentage of the overall biomass, the Solinure Polymarine treatment performed significantly better than all other treatments.

The trial consisted of five treatments, and six repetitions. Each trial plot consisted of 4 rows, with 5 plants per meter in the row.
The NPK application rate was identical in all treatments, except the control (no fertilizer). In each case, nutrients were applied in the N-P2O5-K2O ratio of 12-2.5-5, from planting to harvest. Bioz Diamond was applied at a total rate of 5 L/ha, split between two applications on 28th December (6 DAP) and 9th February (49 DAP), in treatments P+D and F+D. Bioz Diamond had also been applied to the same plots during the previous season.

Results
- Treatments P and P+D resulted in the highest total biomass, significantly higher than other treatments, but not statistically different from each other.
- Treatments P and P+D showed an increase in biomass of 152% and 142% respectively compared to the Farmers Practice (F).
- Treatment F+D showed an increase in biomass of 89% compared to the Farmers Practice (F).
- The kohlrabi yields from treatments P and P+D were significantly higher than the other treatments but were not statistically different from each other.
- Treatments P and P+D showed an increase in yield of 172.5% and 153% respectively compared to the Farmer Practice (F).
- Treatment F+D showed an increase in yield of 86% compared to the Farmers Practice (F).
- Treatment C (no fertilizer) was significantly the lowest for all yield parameters.
